How to reach Indus–Zanskar Confluence
The viewpoint is west of Leh on the Sham Valley road and is easily combined with Alchi or Magnetic Hill.

Leh is the usual base; Nimmu also has limited accommodation.

Indus–Zanskar Confluence is at About 3,150 m. Conditions can change quickly in Ladakh. Carry identification, cash, warm layers, water and essential medication. Confirm current roads, permits and operating accommodation before leaving Leh or Kargil.
River colour contrast changes with season and sediment. Do not expect an identical view to edited photographs.
